Yellowgrass
Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This big, yellow grass grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The broad, flat stalks grow in thin clumps that are strong and tough and they are exceptionally hardy.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, sky blue tuft.
During the late summer, it produces an average amount of pollen; it can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of giant grains.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
It spreads easily and often blanket large areas.
