Orange Spine Cactus

This modest-sized cactus grows up to 58 feet (17.7 meters) tall. The perforated stem is orange, and is covered in sharp spines. The round body is gray-green, and is covered in thick sheets of flexible peach spines.

It is very fast growing, taking 2 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with each petal a slightly different shade of vibrant red grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of 23 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight bowl. It has a delicate scent that smells like pine needles.

The cactus's skin is thick, the purple flesh is smooth, and the lime sap is thin.
