Bronze

This small leaf succulent grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall. The very narrow, elongated stem is green and yellow-green, and is covered in thick bunches of flexible bronze spines. The jagged-edged, perforated leaves are generally green. Thick bunches of them grow from the base like a cabbage. The leaves are strong, and detach easily.

It is very fast growing, taking 7 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with solid grey petals and a gentle orange central disk grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is shaped like a dish made up of many raised, round-tipped petals. It has an intensely strong scent that smells like an ocean breeze.

The leaf succulent's skin is thin, the sky blue flesh is smooth, and the hazel sap is thin.
