Brownfern

This dark brown moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas In rainy mountain ranges.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they spread and grow quickly, and is extremely flexible.
When mature, emerald circular capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release hundred of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
