Red Puff Grass
Grass type: Biennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This giant, red grass grows up to 23 feet (7.0 meters) tall. The long, narrow stalks grow in sparse patches that are prone to bending and snapping under stress and they are slow to spread and grow.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, red puff.
During the early autumn, it produces lots of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of large grains.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
It blooms only at night.
