Bluegrass

This short, brown or blue grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The finger-like stalks grow in thick clumps that are durable and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, light brown spikelet.

During the early winter, it produces copious amounts of pollen; it can can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of tiny grains.
