Burgundy-Brown Conifer

Tree type: Coniferous (Stores water in its leaves)

This short tree grows up to 6 meters (19.7 feet) tall and lives for over 2,000 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 2876 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a branched, straight trunk covered in fine, smooth, light brown bark, and inside, the light wood is burgundy-brown.

The tangled mess of branches trail down towards the ground, with dozens of twigs covered with large amounts of giant, ashy red needles. The needles themselves are hardy.

In late summer it produces large, vivid green, tough-shelled seeds.

The roots grow as a near perfect mirror of the tree above, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.

Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with clear space between them.
