Golden Puffgrass

This small, orange grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The spear shaped stalks grow in large clumps that are delicate and they are exceptionally hardy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, gold puff.

During the mid-summer, it produces a fair amount of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of medium-sized grains.
