Caramel Slate Moss

This caramel and slate moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In rainy mountain ranges, and In moorlands.
It is large, growing up to 8 inches (20 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is slightly resilient; it can easily endure flooding and draughts.
When mature, emerald triangular capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release hundred of spores.
