Coiled Vinegrass
Grass type: Biennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This small, lime green and yellow-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The very thin stalks grow in sparse patches that are strong and tough.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, green puff.
During the mid-autumn, it produces an average amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of medium-sized grains.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It makes a distinctive sound when the wind blows through it.
