Copper Moss

This copper moss is commonly found growing in large clumps In rainy mountain ranges, In marshes, and In damp forests.
It is average-sized, growing up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps, and is slightly sturdy; it can easily endure being trodden on.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release thousands of spores.
