Crispleaf Tree

This average-sized tree grows up to 31 meters (101.7 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 76 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a thick, angular trunk covered in cracked, yellow-brown bark, and inside, the hard wood is pale yellow.

The excessive amount of branches are short, rigid and upright and are covered with sparse amounts of crispy, large, sickle shaped leaves with jagged edges. The leaves themselves are caramel on the sides and grey at the center.

In late summer it forms medium-sized, light brown seed pods.

The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.
