Cyanara
Succulent type: Caudiciform (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This small caudiciform grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The thin stem is moss green, and is covered in dozens of rigid red spines. The angular, brown trunk can grow to as much as 2 feet (61.0 cm) in diameter at the top. Its olive branches are very long, thin and wispy and start growing three quarters of the way up the stem.
The very large amounts of smooth-edged, stiff, pointed leaves are slate with sky blue tips. They are resistant, and easily come away when pulled.
It is quick growing, taking 5 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, several flowers with petals that are light brown on the underside and gold on the top grow at the top, reappearing after 2 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is largely flat with 39 raised narrow petals. It has no scent.
The caudiciform's skin is thick, the cyan flesh is sticky, and the aquamarine sap is thin.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
It can grow in even the most barren lands.
Once on fire, it burns very quickly.
