Aquamarine Vine

This big bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 403 feet (122.8 meters) and growing as high as 51 feet (15.5 meters).

It takes 4 years for the lime green stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 8 inches (20 cm) and are rough and gnarled.

The wispy, waxy leaves reach up to 1.8 feet (53 cm) in length. They are generally aquamarine, and have ripped edges.

During late spring, the bine produces hundreds of small dark blue flowers, and during the early winter, after flowering, it produces excessive amounts of very large seed pods.
