Dishpetal

This small flower grows up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. Its lime green stem is thick and splits into many branching stems halfway up, and the miniature, washed-out orange leaves are grey on the underside and are broad, flat with tattered edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

Many large flowers grow along the length of the stem. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with light brown petals that gradient shift to lime on the outer edge. The central disk is hazel. The flower head is shaped like a dish with 5 tightly layered, narrow petals. They are very delicate.

It has a mildly strong scent that smells like petrol, and it has copious amounts of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is pollinated by a small species of bird.
