Aquamarine Cupflower

Flower type: Biennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small flower grows up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. Its silver stem is very thin, and the giant, green leaves are wispy with irregular edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

Lots of small flowers grow in a bunch at the end of the stem. The flowers are 16 cm (6.3 inches) wide, with solid aquamarine petals and a caramel central disk. The flower head is shaped like a cup made up of several tightly layered, round-tipped petals. They detach easily.

It has a weak scent that smells like cherry, and it has lots of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind.

It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
Offering it in a bouquet is supposed to bring good luck.
All parts of the shrub are edible.
It grows well in the sun and full shade.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
