Bronzevine

This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 52 years. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has several long and flexible, straight stems covered in wrinkled, gray bark, and the wood inside is yellow-brown.

The branches trail down across the ground with dozens of twigs that and are covered with thick bunches of tiny, very narrow and elongated, leaves with tattered edges. The leaves themselves are solid bronze or beige, with pale yellow patches, frail and smooth.

In early spring it produces many medium-sized, beige flowers with pleated petals with a tube-like floral cup. They detach easily and have the faintest scent that smells like pineapple.
