Bronzebell

This big shrub grows up to 8 feet (2.4 meters) tall and lives for around 88 years. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has several narrow, angular stems covered in fine, smooth, gray bark, and the wood inside is brown.

The branches are short stubs with dozens of twigs that and are covered with very large amounts of large, pleated, leaves with rounded edges. The leaves themselves are solid bronze or beige, with pale yellow patches, light and leathery.

In late spring it produces large amounts of medium-sized, brown flowers with wide petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They are sturdy and have no scent.
