Beige Moss

This hazel or beige moss is commonly found blanketing large areas In damp forests, and On rotten logs.
It is short, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps, and is very durable.
When mature, emerald triangular capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release hundred of spores.
