Coppervine

This large bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 351 feet (107.0 meters) and growing as high as 124 feet (37.8 meters). It prefers to grow on trees.

It takes 2 years for the orange and gentle red stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 1.7 feet (51 cm) and are thick and twisted.

The pleated, smooth leaves reach up to 9 inches (23 cm) in length. They are either beige or light brown, with azure edges, and have tattered edges.

During late spring, the bine produces several giant grey flowers, and during the early autumn, after flowering, it produces excessive amounts of small seed pods.
