Blaze Grass

This large, orange-yellow grass grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall. The thick stalks grow in extensive patches that are strong and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, lilac puff.

During the late summer, it produces excessive amounts of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of medium-sized grains.
