Brown Puffgrass
Grass type: Perennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This giant, brown grass grows up to 33 feet (10.1 meters) tall. The long, tapering stalks grow in large clumps that are light and frail and they overwhelm an area rapidly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, light brown puff.
During the mid-autumn, it produces very little pollen, but can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of small grains.
It spreads easily and often blanket large areas.
