Yellowgrass
Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in its leaves)This modest-sized, yellow grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The pleated stalks grow in small clumps that are resilient.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, white tuft.
During the late autumn, it produces very little pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of medium-sized grains.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
