Silvervine

This big bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 242 feet (73.8 meters) and growing as high as 97 feet (29.6 meters).

It takes 9 months for the silver stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 4 inches (10 cm) and are smooth and waxy.

The perforated, leathery leaves reach up to 1.6 feet (48 cm) in length. They are amber and peach, and have rounded edges.

During late spring, the bine produces many balls of tiny ashy orange flowers.
