Brown Tuft Grass

This large, emerald grass grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall. The circular stalks grow in sparse patches that are strong and tough and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, light brown tuft.

During the early summer, it produces excessive amounts of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of tiny grains.
