Sunburst Moss

This orange-yellow and hazel moss is commonly found blanketing large areas In rainforests, and On trees.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and can overwhelm an area rapidly, and is slightly strong.
When mature, emerald V-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release millions of spores.
