Emerald

This gray-green moss is commonly found growing in small clumps On trees, In rainforests, and In bogs.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is overwhelmingly delicate.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release thousands of spores.
