Caramelvine

This large bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 411 feet (125.3 meters) and growing as high as 111 feet (33.8 meters).

It takes 6 months for the moss green stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 1.3 feet (38 cm) and remain soft and fleshy.

The very thick, fuzzy leaves reach up to 2.3 feet (71 cm) in length. They are caramel on the edges and black at the center, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the bine produces bunches of tiny lilac flowers, and during the early autumn, after flowering, it produces a few very large seed pods.
