Lime Green Moss

This yellow-green moss is commonly found blanketing tiny areas On trees, In rainforests, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is small, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is extremely flexible; it can easily endure flooding and draughts.
When mature, emerald teardrop-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release thousands of spores.

It is said to be able to live for hundreds of years.
