Ashy Purple Fruit Tree

Fruit Tree type: Coniferous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This modest-sized fruit tree grows up to 19 feet (5.8 meters) tall and lives for up to 15 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 35 years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has a long and flexible, wavy trunk covered in wrinkled, white with black speckled bark, and inside, the medium-dense wood is dark brown.

The branches are short and slender and are covered with small bunches of large, pleated leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are white and ashy purple.

In early spring, it produces copious amounts of large, peach blossoms with crescent-shaped shaped petals. They are sturdy and have an overpowering scent that smells like skunk spray.

In mid-summer it produces very large, long, tapering fruit. The smooth yellow skin is peel-able and spicy, and the very soft pink flesh is sweet and sticky. The lime seed is very large and sits at the end of the fruit.

The roots grow as a near perfect mirror of the tree above, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with patches of undergrowth between them.

It is very rare outside of a particular area.
The sap is purple.
