Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This small vine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 18 feet (5.5 meters) and growing as high as 87 feet (26.5 meters).
It takes 3 months for the yellow-green stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are smooth and woody.

During late spring, the vine produces handfuls of average olive flowers, and during the late summer, after flowering, it produces a few large fruits.
