Crimsonvine
Flower type: Perennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This short flower grows up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. Its amber stem is very thick and straight, and the large, silver leaves are fan-like with ripped edges. The leaves alternate on the stem from the base up to about halfway.
Each stem splits 6 to 9 times; a single large flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 4 cm (1.6 inches) wide, with solid crimson petals decorated with bronze lines and a green central disk. The flower head is made up of 44 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight tube. They are sturdy.
It has a fairly strong scent that smells like meat, and it has lots of pollen,but it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects and is enjoyed by several specific types of insect.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
It is slightly resistant to fire damage.
