Brown Winding Conifer

This average-sized tree grows up to 26 meters (85.3 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 87 years old. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a wide, straight trunk covered in paper-thin, waxy, brown-green speckled bark, and inside, the flexible wood is black.

The excessive amount of branches trail down to the ground, with dozens of twigs covered with large amounts of small, brown needles. The needles themselves are light.

In late summer it produces medium-sized, black seed pods.

The roots are shallow and grow straight down, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with the space between filled with undergrowth.
