Bloodvine

This enormous bine is a very slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 581 feet (177.1 meters) and growing as high as 703 feet (214.3 meters). It prefers to grow on specific trees.

It takes 21 years for the lime stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 1.3 feet (41 cm) and are smooth and rubbery.

The wispy, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 3.2 feet (97 cm) in length. They are gentle purple and yellow, and have serrated edges.

During late spring, the bine produces a handful of small blood red flowers, and during the late summer, after flowering, it produces copious amounts of small fruits.
