Emerald Petal

This short flower grows up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. Its emerald stem is very thick and straight with a curved tip, and the huge, dark grey or cyan leaves are perforated with tattered edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

Each stem splits 2 to 4 times; a single large flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 1 cm (0.4 inches) wide, with petals that are lime on the underside and vibrant green on the top. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 45 curved petals. They detach easily.

It has a fairly strong scent that smells like rotten meat, and it has an average amount of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects and is particularly attractive to a specific species.
