Goldenbell

This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 85 years. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has several very thick, wonky stems covered in silky, yellow-brown bark, and the wood inside is dark brown.

The branches are short, thin and wispy with thousands of twigs that and are covered with handfuls of giant, slender, pointed, leaves with serrated edges. The leaves themselves are gold and sky blue, light and soft.

In early summer it produces many small, olive flowers with 6 pointed petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They are hardy and have an intense scent that smells like musk.
