Burgundy Grass
Grass type: Biennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This average-sized, burgundy grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The long, tapering stalks grow in thin clumps that are flexible and they are slow to spread and grow.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, lilac flower.
During the early summer, it produces a fair amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of large grains.
