Greyfern

This grey and gold moss is commonly found growing in giant clumps In marshes, In heathlands, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is short, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they spread and grow quickly, and is very resilient; it can easily endure being trodden on.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release millions of spores.
