Tree type: Deciduous (Stores water in its stem)

This small tree grows up to 2 meters (6.6 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 439 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a narrow, wavy trunk covered in silky, dark brown bark, and inside, the light wood is pale yellow.

The excessive amount of branches are tall, rigid and upright and are covered with handfuls of covered in fine hairs, small, broad, flat leaves with rounded edges. The leaves themselves are beige and faded orange.

In late summer it forms large, bronze seed pods.

The roots are shallow and grow straight down, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.

Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with clear space between them.
