Coral Grass

Grass type: Annual (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This average-sized, pink-red grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The very thin stalks grow in large clumps that are resilient and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, aquamarine tuft.

During the mid-autumn, it produces copious amounts of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of large grains.

It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
A particular bird species likes to nest in it.
It grows well in the sun and full shade.
