Puffgrass

This short, lime green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The broad, flat stalks grow in extensive patches that are strong.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, hazel puff.

During the late summer, it produces very little pollen, but can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of giant grains.
