Copperleaf

This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 30 years. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has several flexible, straight stems covered in knobbly, brown-green bark, and the wood inside is copper-coloured.

The branches are short, rigid and upright that and are covered with thick bunches of huge, circular, leaves with serrated edges. The leaves themselves are solid orange with peach edges, rigid and smooth.

In early summer it produces lots of large, pink flowers with broad, flat petals. They are very delicate and have a delicate scent that smells like pineapple.
