Caramel Starburst Cactus

This short cactus grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall. It splits at the base to form 2 thick stems. Each stem is orange-yellow or caramel, and is covered in hundreds of flexible yellow spines. The spherical body is gray-green, and is covered in hundreds of flexible yellow spines.

It is fast growing, taking 11 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are either aquamarine or dark grey, with a yellow center, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is shaped like a star made up of many tightly layered, round-tipped petals. It has a faint scent that smells like cinnamon.

The cactus's skin is extremely thick, the dark brown flesh is leathery, and the indigo sap is thin.
