Chestnutfern

This brown moss is commonly found growing in large clumps On trees, In rainforests, and In marshes.
It is big, growing up to 8 inches (20 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is extremely resilient.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release hundred of spores.
