Caramel

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This big leaf succulent grows up to 78 feet (23.8 meters) tall. The needle-like stem is copper, and is covered in copious amounts of rigid light red spines. The rounded-edged, broad, flat leaves are a shade of caramel that gradient shifts to lilac at the top. Handfuls of them grow from the base in random directions. The leaves are resistant, and take little effort to detach.

It is very slow growing, taking 50 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with petals that are blue on the edges and red at the center grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of handfuls of petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight tube. It has a delicate scent that smells like chocolate.

The leaf succulent's skin is nearly impenetrable, the vibrant green flesh is slimy, and the olive sap is thin.

The bark is frequently covered in moss.
It has impressive regenerative properties.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
