Amber Spiral Moss

This amber moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In bogs, and In damp forests.
It is short, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they spread and grow quickly, and is very robust.
When mature, emerald spiral capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release millions of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.
