Brown Moss

This brown moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In rainy mountain ranges, In damp forests, and In rainforests.
It is average-sized, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is overwhelmingly tough.
When mature, emerald V-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release hundred of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
