Burgundy vine

This modest-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 33 feet (10.1 meters) and growing as high as 388 feet (118.3 meters).

It takes 8 months for the burgundy stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 4 inches (10 cm) and are hard and brittle.

The sickle shaped, sticky leaves reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They are found in light grey and peach varieties, and have ripped edges.

During late spring, the vine produces thousands of average purple flowers.
