Silver Moss

This silver moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In rainy mountain ranges, and On rotten logs.
It is short, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is very robust.
When mature, emerald circular capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release dozens of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.

It is suitable for making paper
All of it is said to be part of one single, massive plant.
It is almost impossible to grow from cuttings.
