Indigo Leaf Succulent

This colossal leaf succulent grows up to 128 feet (39.0 meters) tall. The slender, pointed stem is gray-green, and is dotted with small blood red spines. The jagged-edged, long, tapering leaves are cream with indigo tips. Very large amounts of them grow from the base in a symmetrical pattern. The leaves are light, but detach easily.

It is steady-growing, taking 4 years to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, several flowers with indigo petals and a yellow center grow at the top, reappearing after 6 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is shaped like a cup made up of 18 raised, narrow petals. It has a weak scent that smells like skunk spray.

The leaf succulent's skin is thin, the sky blue flesh is sticky, and the bold green sap is thin.
